Getting started step by step
Setting Up An Account
All you have to do is apply for an account by visiting the ‘sign up’ page and follow the instructions.
Once your application is approved, you will be sent your login data through Email – your username and password. Once you receive this email, visit the ‘login’ page and proceed to the ‘my account’ area. It’s here you will see your rate lists, you can download your invoices and CDRs and make pre-payments.
You will also be able to make a couple of test calls to any location before you make a prepayment.
OneVoip is a pre-paid service only. You will find within your account area, there are various payment methods to choose from: Moneybookers, Ukash, bank transfer, credit card and PayPal.
There are accounts available in 2 currencies: EUR and USD. All rate lists and billings will be in the currency you have chosen.
1. Sign up
Visit the 'sign up'-page and follow the instructions.
Onevoip offers accounts in EUR & USD.
Ratelists, billing & payment & in the currency you choose. Separate ratelists do apply for EUR & USD.
Please note that we cannot change the currency of an account once it is created.
After the application has been approved, you will receive your login data by Email (Username & Password).
With these login data, you can visit the 'Login'-page, and enter the myaccount area.
There you can see our Ratelists, download your invoices and CDR's, insert fixed IP addresses, and make prepayments
2. Making payments
In your myaccount area you will find various payment methods such as Bank Transfer, Moneybookers, Ukash, Credit Card & Paypal
Just follow the payment instructions for the payment method you would like to use.
4. Getting connected
The username & password you received from us can also be used to connect to our SIP connection server in order to make calls.
Settings are as follows:
- Username: Your Onevoip username
- Password: Your password
- SIP/Proxy registrar: sip.onevoip.com
- Domain/Realm (optional): onevoip.com
- STUN server: stun.onevoip.com
If you would only like to connect using fixed IP addresses, you can insert your fixed IP addresses in your myaccount area.
After that, you can connect by using the following Onevoip-IP addresses:
- For SIP: 220.127.116.11
- If you are using a hosted voip softswitch provider, please check that you ONLY use IP addresses which are uniquely assigned to your account.
Following codecs are supported:
- G.711 (64 kbps)
- G.726 (32 kbps)
- G.729 (8 kbps)
- G.723 (5.3 & 6.3 kbps)
- GSMFR (13 kbps)
- iLBC (20ms & 30ms)
5. Available routes
We offer 3 different routes:
- Onevoip Grey –> lowest possible rates, no guaranteed quality
- Onevoip Standard –> low rates, good quality
- Onevoip Premium –> slightly higher rates, very good quality
To select a route to terminate a call, please proceed as follows:
for example for calls to UK:
- Onevoip EUR/USD Grey: 00001 44 12345678
- Onevoip EUR/USD Standard: 00 44 12345678
